Praise the Lord! hope all is well.

Last week a question was asked “Why do I need a Boaz?” Why can’t I be a strong independent lady single of Christ? And to be Honest I was not sure how to properly answer this question, since I am not a Pastor or minister. So what I actually did was read The Book of Ruth Chapters 1-4 [https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ruth%201&version=KJV] that is the url insert.

Ok. So why do you need a Boaz? First off, that term “where is my Boaz?” is just something that people use to say “where is the man that God has for me.” Boaz is a person in the Bible who fell in love with Ruth because he liked who she was as a person. DO YOU NEED A BOAZ?(a man), well that is a question that you should ask God, the one who created you.

“Why can’t you be a strong independent lady single in Christ?”

There were so many answers I wanted to say, but I wanted to make sure what I said lined up with the word of God.

Genesis 2:18- And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.  [https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis+2%3A18&version=KJV ](Url insert)

Apostle Paul wrote in the book of 1 Corinthians 7 about whether you should marry or stay single.

1 Corinthians chapter 7:2- Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.

For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.

I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is good for them if they abide even as I.

But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

It is Good if you have someone you care about, but not everyone can handle a relationship. Just wait on God and he will provide for you…

Hope that answers your question. 🙂

Be blessed, be BOLD and don’t forget that you are FEARFULLY and wonderfully made.:)
