AM I PURE?

Job 31:1“I have made a covenant with my eyes; How then could I gaze at a virgin?

1 Corinthians 6:15-20
Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take away the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be! Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH.” But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 
Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

Why did I choose this Topic?

The reason that I chose this topic is because there is not a lot of people who is talking about sexual purity. It seems like everywhere we turn PREMARITAL SEX IS BEING MAGNIFIED. And that is wrong. Yeah, Yeah, some people may say that this is the modern world we are no longer living in ancient times where people waited to have sex.

Since sex is everywhere in social media, movies, etc. more youths are falling into temptation. Although physically we maybe virgins but mentally we have done more than you can ever imagine. I can speak for myself when I say that if we are not careful we can go so far and not even notice how we got there…

Sex is not wrong when it is between a husband and wife. BUT if you are not married and you “DO the DO” know that God is not happy…

I have repented so many times about remaining pure and every time I seem to come short. It is because I am trying to depend on myself to stay pure, rather than Looking to God to remain pure.

LET US WATCH AND PRAY SO THAT NOT ONLY OUR BODIES BUT THAT OUR HEARTS WILL BE PURE AS WELL…
