Crushed on You

I did not post last two weeks because I was going through a transition and I was not in the right mindset to write.

I am feeling a little bit better but not totally.

Today I want to write about crushes….

So,What exactly do we do when we have a huge crush on someone?

Honestly, sometimes as a Christian, I find it difficult for me to act… questioning whether I talk to him and flirt,should I not flirt? Should I just ignore him?

And then maybe you may start to doubt yourself… does he even like me? And if he does, why!

Those are the questions that I have been dealing with lately.

I use to think that it was wrong to have a crush on a guy as a Christian. I use to think it was wrong to desire a boyfriend. But no! One of my church sisters assured me that it was a lie. Desiring a relationship and to be in a godly marriage is fine.

Now… if your anything like me, you research when you have a crush! You research tips and signs to confirm what your crush is feeling.

If I am not interested in a guy I will not entertain them. I am still friendly to them and everything but I try to keep a safe distance. I make sure that if I feel like they are coming on to me, I either say I am not interested or I will brush it off and drop hints that I’m not interested.

Some tips to see if a guy possibly have a crush on you….

1. If he is constantly staring at you… I don’t look at things that I don’t like, so if he keeps staring at you then girl, you’ve got an admirer.
2. He speaks In a soft tone with you. I’ve notice that when I personally have a crush on someone, I speak in a more softer tone. I also noticed that when a guy have a crush on me, he will use a soft tone. Which is always nice.
3. He will compliment you. He will want you to know that he thinks that you look good.
4. He is supportive. He is always there for you. Whether it is for a performance or just moral support, he is there front and center.
5. Now, this tip is mostly what I tend to do when I have a crush on a guy. I tend to want to feed him. I’ve heard it said that a way to a guy’s heart is through his stomach. I will bring his a snack or maybe a dessert. I remember one time I bought lunch for someone I had a crush on… some people might think that buy or bringing door to a guy is insane. But everyone is different. Most of the guys that I tend to know LOVE food! Especially if it is FREE!
6. Now this should have been the first tip. When I have a crush on a guy the first thing that I do is I PRAY for him! The way that I think about it is that everyone needs prayer. I pray for their safety, I pray for their strength and I pray for their faith and whatever it is that is laid on my heart.
