Distractions( Original Poem)

Hello Everyone !

This is a poem I was inspired to write by how hard distractions make it for us to focus on things that concerns the Word of God and even fully working and being effective in our different ministries.

Of course like always, a video will accompany this poem, and I may even add a twist to it.

Sitting in a corner

Just Tryna read my Bible

Then a thought pops in my head

To distract me from my savior

And I start to wonder why

It’s so hard to focus

Distractions coming at me to distract me from my purpose

I don’t find it crazy, nor really out the blue

Distractions goal is to steal my heart, and get my soul too

I want to be vigilant,

I want to stay in His plans

But obstacles, everything, is a hindrance

I want a clean heart

I want a Clean mind

I want to walk the straight and narrow

Path that he’s set

Free from every distraction, and bad intent
