Save Her

Hello everyone!!

How is your week going?? 

I hope that all is well!!!
The post for today is a poem that was inspired from a dark place in my past. These words I believe were inspired by the Lord because of how easy it was to write this piece! I was dealing a lot about self image and was fighting a lot of temptation. I say fighting because it was a battle!!! My statement of faith is to be BOLD for Christ!! Which means opening up and being transparent in hope of helping someone. I hope that you will not only read this piece but that if you are someone who struggles with Purity and self image that it will inspire you to seek the Lord and be free from bondage.

She’s lost and broken;

Desperately shattered into pieces.

Been hurt, abused and extremely misused! 

Everything she bought, she lost!

She went from being in her right mind to now extremely confused.

Is there anyone out there that can save her?

Save her from herself!

From the tormenting lies about beauty that echoes in her head!

Can anyone save her from the magazines and images that shes seen?

She’s forced to put on concealer, foundation and powder!

She’s forced to add on lashes, eyebrows and liner!

She’s forced to brush on blushes of Varying pigments!

Can anyone free her from the lies of society that she has chosen to believe in? 

She added concealer to conceal all the dirty sins that she committed on her bed. Fornication with herself, placing her hand where it didnt belong, hoping she’d feel pleasure from within. Faking her identity, )covering up her beautiful flaws with lies just to catch a second glance….)

She added a false foundation to a truth that she once knew. Replacing the name that breaks every chains in her prayers just so that no one is offended! 

She traded her power for powder in hope of finally meeting her partner!

Going on blind dates, knowing that the veil had already been removed from her eyes,

She added lashes because she forgot about his lashes that he once took for her!

She painted her eyebrows with liner To recreate and reshape the image that He created her in! Tired of constantly standing out, so she chose to blend in.

She brushed on blushes, and over time developed unhealthy crushes with different pigments of guys who she did not truly care for! Entertaining men of different beliefs, hoping maybe they’d convert to christianity  

So…

Is there anyone that can save her?

She’s slowly falling back into sin!

She did not notice that was taking little steps, which grew into bigger steps into sex.

She fornicated in her mind by Imagining a man who did not belong to her but to another, and caused herself to feel pleasure by her hand. 

So….

Before she falls to deep, is there anyone that can save her?

She screamed out, 

desperately pleading for help, 

from herself!

Can’t anyone discern that her garment is changing in shades?

From white to brown!

Brown to black!

Save her from compulsive shopping which she used to place the joy provided by the son!
She didn’t realize how far she had gone, until a knowledgeable Sunday school teacher subconsciously pointed out her wrongs.

Showing her that repentance is key!  

Her Father, her Christ Can and will forgive you and welcome you with open arms!! 

So,

She rededicated her life and called his name “Jesus!”

She loves to say his name!

Jesus Christ!

His name brings her a true Joy which money and people could not provide!

So, 

There is someone that can save her!

John 3:16

YAHWEH, He saved her and promised to never leave her alone!
