I had no idea. 

Hello Everyone welcome back!! Below is a short poem I felt inspired to write…. hopefully you can relate.

[I had NO idea.] by Katchee Naelle

I do not use profanity,

I do not cuss, nor do I sleep around.

From the moment I got saved, I decided to put away the old man and be a new creation.

The things I used to do, I no longer had a burning desire to do them. I no longer felt an aching for, nor did my heart tugged to do them…

All sinful desires left…

That is what happened when I came in contact Christ!

When I lifted my hands in the church that sunday morning I had no idea that my life would had been changed!

I had no idea that when I said “Hallelujah” even in my quietest voice my God he heard.

He looked into my heart and saw my plea, he saw my need for mercy.

I did not know that my hallelujah was actually a call for deliverance, i did not know that when I screamed Hallelujah that the chains that weighed me down would be broken.

That my depression and obsession for self pleasure would be removed!

I had no idea that from when I walked up to the alter I would be delivered.

Scriptures: (N.I.V)

Psalms 34:4 -I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 107:6- Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.

Isaiah 43:18 -“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.

1John 5:4-5- for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

2 Samuel 22:2-3 -He said: “The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;3 my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the hornof my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior— from violent people you save me.
